Sheikh Haikel

A BALL OF ENERGY, passion and laughs, Sheikh Haikel has been bouncing along in more ways than one since being crowned the first-ever winner of the Asia Bagus Grand Championship 1991.

Well established in the local entertainment scene as a solo rap artiste, actor and broadcast DJ, Haikel has starred in shows such as Under One Roof and Living with Lydia, and was part of the successful local movie and theatre production Army Daze.

A veteran host and performer audiences from all walks of life are easily drawn by his signature afro and larger-than-life personality, which make Haikel an instant crowd-pleaser.

Now working on his new album, 2009 looks set to be a busy year for him.
